Lost Reason
Genre: Alternative
Website: http://www.myspace.com/lostreasonmusic
2004 Sascha, Fabian and Steffen teamed up for Lost Reason. Falko joined them as the second man on the 6 string. Though there was metal, it still had no voice. In march 2006 Henning completed the cast. Time and gigs went by, the first recorded output “Fire Of Lunacy” left the walls of the little hut in Berstadt, where they used to practise. Learning their lessons in musician work, progress wasn’t stoppable, but inner differences lead the rest of the band to part ways with Henning.
Later in 2007 he was replaced by Yves who’s time is now being the voice of Lost Reason. Their second, more professionally output, is longing to break out. This one will be more melodic but still the Lost Reason kind of Death metal. The clown got his mask and we’re hungry to blast some ears.

Cedar-N-Sage
Genre: Alternative
Website: http://www.myspace.com/cedarnsage
Cedar-N-Sage was formed by D Lorah in the late 80s in Southern California. They wrote and recorded Feeling Dangerous after performing a sold out show at the Roxy in Los Angeles. It is a collection of moody and melodic tunes they coined as Desert Rock and its the perfect soundtrack for late night driving down a desert or county road.
Vocalist D Lorah and guitarist found themselves in Northwest Arkansas with a new bass and keyboard player, Earl McCool. Being a three piece band, by no means keeps the sound small. Cedar-N-Sage has a unique way of beefing up their melodic rock sound using a drum machine, additional keyboards, guitars, harmonies and percussion. They not only write original songs but lend their unusual arrangements to a diverse group of covers, from the 60s to now. To support the album Feeling Dangerous, they have played in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Arkansas and Texas.
The new Cedar N Sage line up has been writing together for the last 15 years and are working on a new album Reflection Pool. A teaser song, What in the World is available for download on http://myspace.com/cedarnsage What in the World is also being played on the charity, Chernobyl Children’s International Project website. The song is also available there for download, and with the purchase price of 99 cents, this wonderful charity will get 70 of the download.

The Dropzines
Genre: Alternative
Website: http://www.dropzines.com
A COLLECTION OF CIRCA 1930′S PERIODICALS DEDICATED TO ESSAYS ON NATIONAL DEPRESSION AND MASS EXHAUSTION.
The Dropzines’ singer/songwriter/guitarist, Shawn Stabley, has been composing and performing melody-intensive music since he was a teenager. From 1988 to 1991, Shawn wrote, sang and played bass for the NYC alternative rock group, The Dutch Provos.
In ‘91, Shawn, along with fellow Dutch Provos’ guitarist, Tim Archer, founded The Most Sordid Pies. The Pies, as they became referred to by fans, recorded their debut LP, “Grit & Sunshine,” along side producers John Siket (Sonic Youth, Phish, Yo La Tengo) and Kramer (Shimmy Disc Records), utilizing legendary rock recording facilities, Bearsville and Power Station Studios. The gritty, yet euphonious acuity of “Grit & Sunshine” would, without a doubt, have gotten The Pies their “just dessert” had its release not been suddenly halted by the bankruptcy of its label’s parent company, Power Station Records. Sadly, The Pies would not recover from the harsh turn of events, and “Grit & Sunshine” would never see its release date, as they disbanded in 1995.
