DEFANICO, born in 1982 in Mexico City, developed an intuitive spirit for the arts at an early age. He began writing songs for piano during the fundamental stages of his youth, his composition oscillating between classical, all the way to rock, pop and electronic music.
He has been influenced by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Queen, Bjork, Suede, Sasha, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Pulp, Bob Marley, The Cure, OMD, Beck, New Order, Guns n’ Roses, INXS and classic masters like Beethoven and Mozart. DEFANICO has now entered the world of modern pop and alternative bands such as Radiohead.
