Edd Greer

Genre: Country/Blues
Website: http://www.eddgreer.com

When Edd was 6 years old his family would take him in dancehalls in Louisiana and Mississippi and put him in front of the jukeboxes and he would dance like Elvis. They had him dressed in blue suede shoes, black Leather jacket, and collar turn up and hair combed back. The crowds loved him and would throw money on the floor in front of him. He did not realize it but this was the beginning of his music career.

His father gave him a guitar at age 12 and he learned to play throughout High school. No matter where he went he always had a guitar with him. It was not until years later when he was playing guitar in a Church outreach program doing jail services when a promoter noticed him.

He was asked to come into a local recording studio to do some demos. One year later his first record was pressed in Nashville and titled ” AMERICAN FARMER” The record were released and played on radio stations throughout the south and made its way into the international airwaves. A talent manager named Carol Booth signed him to a contract to negotiate him a record deal in Nashville.
