Austin’s First Gospel Comedienne, MizT, released her debut comedy CD, Back at ‘Ya, Lord! in February 2008. You have never heard church bloopers and bible stories told like this. Fresh and original Christian comedy that’s rated “I” for the innocent.
Tranea’ is a native of Austin Texas and is the blessed mother of two grown sons. Her youngest is currently serving in the U.S. Army and is stationed at Ft. Gordon in GA. She is the oldest child and favorite daughter of her parents, Harvey (dec’d) and Fayebaby. Her brother resides in Houston Texas.
Tranea’ was asked by an associate minister in 1988 to lead Praise & Worship for the mid-week services at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, under the late Rev. E.M. Franklin. She has also served as the same at Turning Point Bible Fellowship, and currently at Freedom Home Baptist Church.
When it comes to Christian comedy and serving as an Emcee, Tranea’ is known as MizT! When asked about her style of Comedy, Tranea’ says: “I have been given a great gift and it is a joy to share it.”
