David Bennett Cohen
Genre: Blues
Website: http://www.davidbennettcohen.com
Mr. Cohen isn’t the average hippie gone Wall Street, he’s also a certifiably smokin’ barrel house rumba boogie-woogie piano player in the James Booker/Professor Longhair/Dr. John vein.
What separates Cohen from a lot of other players is his unassuming ease behind the keys, and the ability to take that admiration past rote emulation, invoking the spirits of boogie-woogie, stride and blues piano greats without ever forcing things or just replicating other folks’ licks.
In addition to Country Joe and the Fish, over the years, he has played and/or recorded with The Blues Project, Mick Taylor, The Luther Tucker Blues Band, Elvin Bishop, Hubert Sumlin, Melvin Van Peebles, Happy and Artie Traum, Arlen Roth, Eric Anderson, David Blue, Tim Hardin, Norton Buffalo, Jerry Miller, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Buddy Miles, Canned Hear, John Cippolina, Huey Lewis, Michael Bloomfield, Bob Weir, John Kahn, Johnnie Johnson, Jimmy Vivino, Jay Owens, Debbie Davies, Byther Smith, Bobby Kyle, Bill Perry, Rocky Lawrence, Johnny B. Gayden, Sandra Feva and others.
He played on Broadway and toured in the hit show, RENT, doubling on keyboards and guitars.

Edd Greer
Genre: Country/Blues
Website: http://www.eddgreer.com
When Edd was 6 years old his family would take him in dancehalls in Louisiana and Mississippi and put him in front of the jukeboxes and he would dance like Elvis. They had him dressed in blue suede shoes, black Leather jacket, and collar turn up and hair combed back. The crowds loved him and would throw money on the floor in front of him. He did not realize it but this was the beginning of his music career.
His father gave him a guitar at age 12 and he learned to play throughout High school. No matter where he went he always had a guitar with him. It was not until years later when he was playing guitar in a Church outreach program doing jail services when a promoter noticed him.
He was asked to come into a local recording studio to do some demos. One year later his first record was pressed in Nashville and titled ” AMERICAN FARMER” The record were released and played on radio stations throughout the south and made its way into the international airwaves. A talent manager named Carol Booth signed him to a contract to negotiate him a record deal in Nashville.

Bluesman Tom Malafarina
Genre: Blues
Website: http://www.TomMalafarina.com/BMT.html
Bluesman Tom Malafarina was born July 23, 1955 in the town of Ashland, Pennsylvania in the heart of the “Hard Coal” region. He grew up in this hard working, hard drinking blue-collar community amid pitifully low income levels and frighteningly high unemployment rates. From this humble, constantly struggling community, with its strong ethnic bonds, Tom learned the importance of hard work, honesty, determination and most importantly need for keeping a good sense of humor about life.
At the turn of the 21st century, with the onset of the new millennium, Tom came out of retirement with a mission to focus all of his musical talents as a singer/songwriter in one direction, the BLUES.

The Blue Suede Crew
Blue Suede Crew - More than a Tribute
The Blue Suede Crew is very far from your everyday tribute act. These boys, steeped in the history of Rock n’ Roll, Gospel, Country and the Memphis Blues, don’t just play the songs of their heroes - Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash - they embody their very spirit.
The Crew will demonstrate not just their undoubted musical talents, but also their ability to put on a barnstorming, show-stopping performance for our troops when they take the stage at a USO show in Camp Atterbury, Indiana on Saturday December 5. It promises to be a wild, raucous night, celebrating everything that is best about honest American music.
And anyone who simply cannot wait to sample some of the finest Rock n’ Roll, Country and Blues you are not likely to hear anywhere else in the world can now hear the Crew in all its glory on the ‘Sun Sessions’ album available at shows or online at www.bluesuedecrew.com.
Recorded in the very same Memphis studio that saw both Elvis and Cash make some of their finest work, the album is a testament to The Blue Suede Crew’s love and mastery of the gospel and blues sound.
Produced by legendary Sun studio engineer James Lott, who oversaw U2’s 1988 ‘Rattle and Hum’ record, ‘Sun Sessions’ is a perfect combination of homage and the new. The band takes traditional music but gives it an unmistakably modern twist. In many ways, it’s exactly what Cash and Elvis did all those years ago, in the very same place.
From the stand-up bass playing of George Miller and the tight rhythms of Dave Stephens, through Rock n’ Roll survivor Bobby Reynolds on guitar, and on to the charismatic Scott Wattles on vocals that make you believe The King is reborn, this group packs one heck of a punch!
Add in Keith Furry as Johnny Cash, the additional vocals of Jan Daily as June Carter, an incendiary horn section led by Glen ‘Lips’ Lewis, the soulful backing vocals of DaJaVu’ and you have a band ready to take on the world.
Anyone who likes Cash, Elvis or just great music will love The Blue Suede Crew. Catch them while they’re hot!
