Immundus, born in Albufeira, Portugal in 1982, wasn’t until the age of 15 years old that he picked up is first musical instrument.
Playing as bassist in different music projects throughout the years, Necrokult of Kronos, a death/black metal band in which he was bass former member and singer, was this the only band with more accomplisments, recording a demo and a full album.
After moving to Norway by the end of 2003 for personal reasons, wasn’t until the end of 2006 that the opportunity to self-thought expression through music and ideas gave birth to the Dark Ambient musical project under the same name he already had on previous bands as “Immundus”.
Inspired by the many dark aspects of life, its mystery, horror, the force and sounds of mother nature, combined with mental chaos, psychotic dreams, and musical influences from depressive, gothic and black metal “atmospheres”, Immundus intends to create eerie, haunting and bizarre atmospheres, yet beautiful and melancholic with intent to make skins crawl and turn purest dreams into nightmares.
