Salt Lake City, Utah. – Jhonny K is a singer/songwriter who recently moved from Nashville, Tn., to Salt Lake City. One luxury that he had is the freedom to express himself in whatever form he chooses. This, after all is in our constitution. Musically, JhonnyK has met that goal, gracefully and with plenty of musical style. Being in Nashville gave him the opportunity to rub shoulders with the best in the business.
Jhonnyk started his musical skills by playing drums, then to trumpet. He started to study jazz and classical music with professionals. This enlightened him in as far as harmonies and the understanding of how music is created. He truly is a fan of many styles of music. He loves soul, jazz, hip hop. He also participated in whatever he could, vocally, from small to large choirs. He joined several groups as a back up acoustic guitar player and vocalist. He always, however, wanted to make a CD produced at a professional level. His first CD, ”Break Free”, is just that. It is a dream come true for him. This CD is a very upbeat, uplifting, soul searching, inspirational venture on his part. One particular single off this CD, ”Sometimes”, reflects how we are at different places in life and what we can do about it, sometimes, states Jhonnyk. It is an observation of social and spiritual life.
This new single, ”Sometimes”, has a great beat and a knockout rhythm. The change up in this one song is so smooth, you don’t miss a beat. Played with acoustic guitar, it draws you into the story line. Vocals are beautiful and perfectly suited for this style music. You just can’t help moving to his music. The harmonies are beautifully interjected in his songs and is representative of the stylings of Jhonnyk. Every song is beautifully written, recorded and performs.
Jhonnyk has played in front of 5000 people on a college level and concert. He played in Denver, Nashville, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls and just about everywhere in the West.
At this time, he is in the process of trying to put together a tour around the West.

Gregory Donovan - A reason to be cheerful
a WordPress rating system
Few artists can ever have had as good a reason for creating music as Greg Donovan offers: “Because the world can always use more reasons to smile.”
Well, Amen to that. And to prove the point, Greg has set himself to the task of crafting 12 beautiful slices of uplifting folk, rock and pop perfection for his debut album, the enigmatically-titled ‘It Burned a Hole. Then It Flew Away.’
The self-produced ‘It Burned A Hole.’ is that rare thing in today’s music world - a record on which you can hear its creator’s love for the music come through on every note, in every song and in every word he sings. Read the rest of this entry »

Reaper born Thomas Earl Hurrington, grew up on stage. Reaper started out singing in his grandfather’s church choir and by the time he attended West High School he had made chorale and started touring with his successful singing group Ebony. But performing wasn’t enough for this activist. As early as high school, Reaper started attending social and economic seminars, and wore all black for a year while handing out mission statements trying to instill a sense of unity among minorities and attack the perception of minorities in Utah.
Reaper later joined the nationally touring theatrical troupe Improv, which used acting as a tool tackling social issues from self-esteem to rape. He ended up leading the team across country, teaching other teams and winning awards along the way. Including one for a public service announcement on guns in the schools that he did with Cosmic Pictures. After working for over ten years in the health care field working with people with mental and physical disabilities, Reaper decided that the best way to raise awareness of these and other worldly problems was with music.
