It was over 15 years ago when a 33 years old Vincent Quinn lead guitarist song writer, turned his back on Birmingham based cult rock band the rain men and headed off to Sweden. In the process giving up music and everything that goes with it for the next 12 years. Working in Sweden as a computer tec in a local school, Vince came into contact with an associate who had once been a radio star in his youth in Serbia.

Together the two guys put together a song for the schools charity group, the song let’s make poverty history was later played on national Swedish TV as well as playing it live with Sweden’s own television personalities Triple & touch and a full African choir. Just like a reformed alcoholic taking the first sip of a drink for years, something’s can never be left alone. This was the opening and the right time for Vince to step back into the music world. With maturity and a love for performing like never before and with such a heartfelt determination Vince was writing and back playing again.

The band Stone Ticket was created with Vince playing and singing with a fantastic lineup of Jarm Vehmanen on bass guitar, John Lilliestrand (Drums and percussion) and Henrik Wlding on lead and rhythm guitar. Over the next year the band was quickly gaining acclaim in and around Scandinavia establishing itself with some great rock tracks, they signed with Ubetoo in Sweden 2010 and released their debut album ”Punk’s Dead” with a classic mixture of rock tracks like “the news, put out the fire with gasoline and catch my fall” they are slowly getting the band recognition outside of Scandinavia, this summer the guys will be starting work on recording there second album and like the guys keep saying, this band has appeared out of nowhere and intend staying around for years to come and this is only the first chapter.
