Artist Radio is proud to announce the
formation of the Artist Management / Promotion
division dedicated to promoting the independent
artist. This division will be in a constant
state of change striving
to achieve a better deal for you, the independent
artist. Discounts will get better, the preferred
vendor
list will grow and more opportunities will present
themselves for you to get your music out to
the
listening public.
New Artist Radio endeavors to provide the best
possible solutions for the Independent Artist
to gain knowledge and exposure in the music
industry. We also would like to keep the costs
of recording and promotion as low as possible
for all serious minded independent artists.
The Artist Management and Promotion division
will provide career direction, audio and recording
discounts, bookings, exposure through airplay
and NAR’s fan base, a record store to
sell your music, discounts for all your music
and business needs plus much more.

New Artist Radio Reserves the
right to refuse or deny airplay or participation
in our program at any time without refund!
We fully intend to incorporate
artists living in the same vicinity into a street
team to promote one another’s music, appearances,
and gigs. If you are not interested in helping
to promote other artists, please reconsider
your commitment to our objective. Together we
can promote each other very cheaply and get
the word out to many more people, much faster
than a single artist might do alone.
We have created five (5) levels
of participation. You, as the artist, must decide
what you are seeking, choose the level of participation
and decide how serious you are about your music
career. It is regrettable that we must charge
for these services but rising personnel, computer
related, and promotional costs have placed us
in a position where we either charge for or
never offer these services.
In addition artists working
with the management / promotions dept will be
asked to provide NAR with the email addresses
of their fan base. NAR will construct a database
of every artist’s fans growing a single
artist’s fan base exponentially overnight.
Also all artists must be a member
of BMI or ASCAP or agree to become a member
within 30 days of enrollment.
All artists accepted must have
a press kit both digitally and hardcopy.
Those selling records in the
record store must not give them away on their
websites. (promotions and contests etc excepted)
All artists chosen to tour will
be required to provide their own cds, tee shirts,
hats or other merchandise. NAR will provide
vendors from whom the artists will receive discount
pricing.
All artists belonging to NAR’s
Artist management and Promotions division above
the Tinfoil package will receive:
Health Insurance - Everyone
will be provided competitive rates for the same
coverage. There will be monthly premiums the
artist must pay. (Coming in the very near future)
