Lost Disciples win “single of the Year” at LA Music Awards
The San Diego band, Lost Disciples, nominated in the 16th annual L.A. Music awards, has won the award for “best single of the year” in the catagory of “Heavy Alternative” for their song, Seed, from their newest full-length release, The Journey Home. The band was also a nominee for “best hard rock act of the year”. They accepted their award on Nov. 9th at the awards event which was held at the Music Box Theater in L.A.

Lost Disciples’ new release is a “concept” album
Fans of the band Lost Disciples are finding something interesting about their new album, The Journey Home. If you look closely and listen well you’ll find it’s a concept album. Printed on the CD you see it is in three “acts” by the titles separating the songs which is not on the outside of the case. It is a story of a journey, hence the title. At face value it could be a man’s life journey. Others have interpreted it differently, even as anyone’s spiritual “journey”.

Lost Disciples make strides in L.A.
The band Lost Disciples from San Diego, is getting ready to enter a huge battle and get ready to showcase their talents in two big upcoming shows.
The band’s next show is the Bodog Battle of the Bands. This is a nationwide competition the winner of which will receive a $1,000,000 recording contract. the show will be held at the Roxy theatre on Sunset Blvd. at 9pm, Saturday Sept. 2nd.
Another nod to the band’s efforts was being selected to perform for the L.A. Music Awards’ San Diego Showcase, which will be held at Squid Joe’s: 850 Tamarack Ave., Carlsbad, CA on Saturday, Sept. 9th.
