Sat
Me Up!
Garageband.com, dweeks
I was literally bent over doing something on
the floor when this song started, and I had
to sit up and listen.
Wow is this track good. Let me ramble for a
minute.
The groove/mood is awesome. Great musical mix
to nail the mood.
The song has that classic blues feel that I
love.
The vocals. While everything else on this track
is hot, the vocals are the reason I WILL be
adding it to my playlist and checking out your
other music. Like a mix between Joss Stone and
Donna Summer (and I really do mean that as a
compliment).
This is by far one of the best two or three
tracks of any genre I've heard on GB.
Great stuff - best of luck.

No One Is Sleeping Through This Song!
Wow!!! Outstanding Everything! I played this
one several times for the sheer enjoyment of
it! The vocals are perfect with a slightly raw-edged
quality that I love and make this song really
stand out! I found the lyrics catchy and worked
well in the song. Its easy to tell this was
well recorded and produced, everything sounds
balanced just right! Not sure who this band
sounds like because the singer makes their sound
very unique! One of the best songs I've heard
in the Blues category!!!
Superb,
top of the lot!!!RESPECT
Soft mix here...wow, what a voice on this lady....I'm
immediately drawn in by the ambience of the
song. keys panned right, nice touch...good use
of reverb to set the voice into the mix resulting
in a timeless feel. The mood takes me away to
some place, some comfortable place.
Somehow, the song is heartbreaking with a sweet
undertone.
Even some of the best songs on this site fail
to stir my memory and emotion. This is more
than an intelectually stimulating listen...it's
tearing my heart out.
This is the kind of singing, that has me waiting
for the lyric to come in for each verse....
Other songs that do this for me.... "When
a man loves a Woman" (not the M Bolton
version...the original) "Whiter Shade of
Pale","Take care of Business"
by Nina Simone, almost anything by Otis Redding,
there are others, but they're all hits, no bootleg,
generic track'll get me misty.....
I'm very emotional right now, a song with this
kind of attack and power in the singing, is
rare, even amongst great songs. A five here
is a must...no question...
I'll be hearing this on the radio soon enough
I'd imagine.
I'm excited to hear more from these artists.
Best blues I've heard yet on the site...RESPECT
